Your small steps will make a BIG difference to families like Peter and Lorelei…
Father and daughter both suffer from a condition called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Peter received four kidney transplants throughout his life after being diagnosed at just six years old, and his daughter Lorelei received her first kidney transplant in 2018 at the age of 10.
“While we were on the transplant waiting list, Lorelei and I supported each other, going to dialysis three times a week together. I got the call 2 months before Lorelei so was able to show her that everything would be aright by going through the transplant surgery first,” shares Peter.
