Join us on 10th October 2021 to raise awareness and vital funds in the fight against kidney disease
Head out in red at your local Red Socks Walk in Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide. The Red Socks Walk is Kidney Health Australia’s largest community fundraising event, taking place every year in October.
You will be uniting with thousands of people across Australia, to raise awareness and fundraise vital funds to support families affected by kidney disease.
It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, or your fitness level, the Red Socks Walk is for EVERYONE. It’s an opportunity to unite and support those affected by kidney disease.
If you can’t make our flagship walks in Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide, you can host your own Red Socks Walk in October or join a local community walk.

Your small steps will make a BIG difference to families like Peter and Lorelei…
Father and daughter both suffer from a condition called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Peter received four kidney transplants throughout his life after being diagnosed at just six years old, and his daughter Lorelei received her first kidney transplant in 2018 at the age of 10.
“While we were on the transplant waiting list, Lorelei and I supported each other, going to dialysis three times a week together. I got the call 2 months before Lorelei so was able to show her that everything would be aright by going through the transplant surgery first,” shares Peter.
