My Red Socks Walk for Kidney Health. Small Steps to make a BIG difference.
I am taking part in the Red Socks Walk on Sunday 10th October.
We are walking with the Glynn tribe to honour the memory and bravery of sweet Elsie who sadly lost her fight this year. She was so precious to our family ❤️
We are also walking for our Darling Dad and Papa who is currently fighting kidney disease and is reliant on dialysis daily. It’s a hugely emotional and taxing journey made bearable by the amazing love and support of amazing renal teams that hold our family’s hand and walk it with us. We are forever thankful.
Did you know that you can lose up to 90% of kidney function before having any symptoms. Once your kidneys reach failure, there is no cure. Dialysis or kidney transplant are the only options to stay alive. I’ll be pulling up my RED SOCKS to walk in solidarity with the 25,000 people who are currently living with kidney failure.
